The Genesis Forest Project is located in Tocantins State in central Brazil. The forest covers over 3,000 acres and is home to a wide range of biodiversity including giant anteaters, maned wolves, and an extensive variety of birds. Hyundai’s commitment will reduce deforestation as well as plant native trees to increase habitat to offset emissions over the next 40 years.
